Narwal’s Cheapest Wet-Dry Vacuum Still Washes and Dries Itself, and That Changes the Price Game

Narwal has broadened its home-cleaning lineup in India with three new wet-dry vacuum models at once: the S20, S30, and S20 Pro. The range starts at Rs. 34,990 and is aimed at users who want to vacuum debris and mop hard floors with one device.

What makes the launch stand out is that every model comes with a base station that washes and dries the mop head after use. That setup reduces the manual cleanup normally needed after a floor-cleaning session.

Three price points, one shared idea

The most affordable model is the Narwal S20 at Rs. 34,990. Above it sits the S30 at Rs. 44,990, while the top-end S20 Pro is priced at Rs. 54,990.

Despite the different price brackets, the three products follow the same core formula. Narwal positions the series as an all-in-one hard-floor cleaning solution that combines dry vacuuming and wet mopping in a single unit.

All three models also share several key components. Each one uses a 4,000mAh battery, a 790ml clean-water tank, and a 670ml dirty-water tank.

S20 Pro brings the most complete feature set

The S20 Pro sits at the top of the range and carries the broadest feature list. It delivers 20,000Pa of suction and includes AI DirtSense.

The sensing system reads how dirty a specific area is and then adjusts suction power and water output automatically. Narwal also adds an automatic detergent dispenser on the S20 Pro.

To make handling easier, the model uses a self-propelled motor that helps reduce the effort needed to push the unit across the floor. Narwal says the S20 Pro can run for up to 60 minutes on a single charge.

After cleaning, the base station washes the roller brush and dries it to help prevent mold and odors. That self-maintenance function is one of the main advantages across the series.

S30 focuses on reach and brush care

The S30 occupies the middle tier, but it still offers 20,000Pa of suction. It also shares the same dirt-detection technology found on the Pro model.

Its main physical difference is a 180-degree hinge that allows the body to lie flat on the floor. That design helps the vacuum reach under low furniture such as sofas and beds.

Narwal says the cleaning head can still stay in contact with the floor when the unit is pushed into tight spaces. The S30’s base station also adds more specific maintenance features for the brush.

The roller is washed with 176°F hot water and then dried with a built-in heat bar at 158°F. Narwal also includes a dual-layer comb mechanism to reduce hair tangling around the brush roll.

In addition, the model uses a disposable bag system that separates solid waste from dirty water for easier disposal.

S20 keeps the entry price lower

The S20 is the lowest-priced option in the new lineup. Its main adjustment is a lower suction rating of 18,000Pa, while the wet-and-dry cleaning function remains intact.

It also retains the self-cleaning dock that washes and dries the mop after use, so the core convenience story stays the same. Narwal says the unit is slightly lighter than its siblings at 4.13kg with the water tank empty.

Availability in India

All three models are already available through Narwal’s official website. Buyers in India can also find them on Amazon India and Flipkart.

Narwal plans to expand distribution to physical retail stores as well. The S20, S30, and S20 Pro are scheduled to arrive at Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales starting in July.

The launch adds fresh pressure to India’s smart home-cleaning category. In related market activity, Dreame recently brought the L50s Pro Ultra and L50 Ultra CE robot vacuums to the same market.
