iQOO is preparing to add another model to its Z11 lineup in China, and the Z11i is already drawing attention for one simple reason: it combines a very large battery with a 120Hz display. The launch is scheduled for this week, while reservations have already opened in the Chinese market.
The company has confirmed that official sales will begin at 10:00 local time on 3 July. iQOO has also shown the phone in three color options, namely Qingfeng Green, Desert Gold, and Ink Shadow.
A budget-friendly design with familiar hardware cues
From the official materials, the Z11i appears to use a dual rear camera setup arranged inside a rectangular camera island. The front side uses a waterdrop notch, which suggests the phone is aimed at a more affordable segment.
iQOO has not yet released the full hardware sheet, so most of the detailed specifications continue to come from tipsters. One of the strongest claims is that the Z11i may actually be a rebrand of the Vivo Y60, which launched in China in April.
If that is correct, the phone could carry a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That combination points to a focus on smoother everyday use while keeping the device cost-conscious.
Battery capacity leads the story
The most attention-grabbing number attached to the Z11i is its 6,500mAh battery. That size should appeal to users who prioritize long endurance over other premium features.
Charging, however, is reportedly limited to 15W. That creates a clear contrast between the generous battery capacity and the more modest charging speed.
According to the leaks, the device may run on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip. It is also said to be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Expected specifications at a glance
| Feature | Expected Detail |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.74-inch LCD, HD+, 120Hz refresh rate |
| Chipset | Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 |
| Memory and Storage | LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage |
| Battery | 6,500mAh |
| Charging | 15W |
| Front Camera | 5MP |
| Rear Camera | 13MP main camera |
The imaging setup appears modest, with a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main rear camera. The second rear camera has not been detailed yet, although the dual-camera design has already been shown.
Extra features that may help it stand out
Several additional features have also surfaced in the leaks. These include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster.
There is also mention of IP65 protection, which would give the phone a degree of resistance against dust and water. Another unusual detail is the inclusion of a notification light, a feature that has become rare on newer phones.
For location services, the Z11i is said to include single-band GPS and dual-band BeiDou support. Those details suggest iQOO is tailoring the device carefully for its intended segment rather than chasing premium extras.
At this stage, the confirmed information is still limited to the launch timing, reservation status, color choices, and the basic design shown by iQOO. The rest should become clearer once the official sales window opens on 3 July.
