Samsung’s next premium lineup is starting to take shape, and the latest renders suggest the company is pushing harder on its foldables than on its wearables. The most talked-about device is the Galaxy Z Fold8, which appears to be aiming for a wider format and a lighter body than many rivals.
At the same time, the Galaxy Z Flip8 looks far more conservative. Its design is said to stay close to the Flip7, making Samsung’s 2025-style strategy look split between a major foldable push and a steadier clamshell update.

Galaxy Z Fold8 is shaping up as Samsung’s boldest foldable
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is reported to bring a 5.5-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch main screen with a 4:3 ratio. That wider direction is also paired with a claimed weight of about 200 grams, which would make it unusually light for a book-style foldable.
Samsung is also expected to keep the device slim, with a thickness of around 4.5 mm when opened and 9.7 mm when folded. Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the phone is said to offer 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 1TB.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra goes further on cameras and charging
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is described as a more premium follow-up, even though its naming may confuse some buyers. Its design is said to stay close to the previous generation, but the hardware targets a more serious flagship tier.
According to the leaks, the model will use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. It is also tipped to carry a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging, plus a camera system led by a 200MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Galaxy Z Flip8 keeps the familiar formula
The Galaxy Z Flip8 appears to be the least dramatic upgrade in the group. Its overall look is said to remain very similar to the Flip7, while Samsung lines up colors including Cream, Graphite, Pink, and Mint, with some variants likely reserved for the online store.
Performance may vary by market, as the device is said to use Exynos 2600 in at least some regions. It is also expected to weigh 180 grams and feature a 4,300 mAh battery, while the screen and camera setup are reportedly unchanged from the predecessor.
Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2 round out the leak
The same set of renders also points to the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 in a 47 mm size with two color choices. Galaxy Watch9 is shown in 40 mm and 44 mm versions, giving Samsung’s wearable lineup a familiar but slightly refreshed shape.
Watch9 is said to arrive in Cream, Graphite, and Green. If the leaked details prove accurate, Samsung’s premium lineup will lean heavily on refinement rather than dramatic reinvention, with the biggest leap reserved for the Fold series.
