The Infinix Hot 70 Pro uses an unusual design detail to stand apart: its Mirage Green rear panel reveals a subtle glow under ultraviolet light. The effect is most visible in dark surroundings, where the surface can resemble a clear night sky.
Small particles embedded in the back panel create the illumination when exposed to UV light. The Mirage Green version also uses a vegan leather finish intended to provide a more secure grip.
A different approach to rear-panel design
Infinix has prepared a second colour treatment for selected markets called Thermo Orange. Its orange tone changes in lightness and darkness according to temperature.
GSM Arena reported that this temperature-sensitive approach resembles a design previously used on the Hot 70. Availability of the two finishes may vary by market.
| Variant | Finish or effect | Defining trait |
|---|---|---|
| Mirage Green | Vegan leather with UV-sensitive particles | Subtle glow under UV light |
| Thermo Orange | Temperature-sensitive orange colour | Shade changes with temperature |
Mini LED panel adds notifications and games
The phone also places an Active Matrix Cube LED inside the housing of the third rear lens. Although the device uses two rear cameras, this small LED can light up for calls, messages, and charging.
Users can select built-in animations or draw their own emoji for the display. The miniature panel also includes two simple games, Lucky Wheel and Lucky Numbers.
A dedicated AI button sits on the side of the handset for shortcuts such as saving contacts, creating calendar entries, or sending Gmail. Holding the button opens Infinix’s Folax AI assistant.
Display and processing hardware
The Hot 70 Pro has a 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
Infinix states that the chipset can exceed 780,000 points in AnTuTu. The company also says it supports 90fps gaming in compatible titles.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS LCD, adaptive 144Hz |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 7100 |
| Memory | 8GB LPDDR4X RAM |
| Rear cameras | 8MP and 50MP IMX882 |
| Battery | 6,000mAh or 5,600mAh, depending on market |
Camera details remain partly unclear
The rear camera system includes an unspecified 8MP camera and a 50MP main camera using a 1/1.95-inch IMX882 sensor. Both the 1x and 2x modes use the 50MP camera.
Infinix has not clarified the role of the second lens visible on the rear of the device. As a result, one part of the rear camera layout remains unexplained.
The phone carries IP68 and MIL-STD-810 certifications for what Infinix describes as challenging conditions. The company has not detailed the test scenarios behind those durability claims.
Inside the box, buyers receive a 45W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case with an outlined design. Battery capacity differs by distribution market, with either a 6,000mAh or 5,600mAh unit.
