Huawei is broadening its connected-device strategy with a smartphone camera system, open-ear earbuds and a slim productivity tablet. The three products are intended to make photography, communication, creative work and entertainment move more smoothly between devices.
The most notable hardware claim comes from the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series, which features a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera. Huawei pairs it with True-to-Colour Camera 2.0 to improve long-distance shots, macro photography and images taken in challenging lighting.
| Product | Main Focus | Key Detail |
|---|---|---|
| HUAWEI Pura 90s Series | Photography and AI | 200MP telephoto camera and True-to-Colour Camera 2.0 |
| HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S | Open-ear audio | Airy C-bridge and Luminous Charging Case |
| HUAWEI MatePad Air | Work and creativity | 5.3mm body and Ultra-clear OLED PaperMatte Display |
A Tablet Built Around Portability
The HUAWEI MatePad Air is only 5.3mm thick, positioning it as a lightweight option for work, study, creative tasks and entertainment. Its Ultra-clear OLED PaperMatte Display is designed to provide vivid colour, high clarity, accurate colour reproduction and more comfortable extended viewing.
Huawei has also integrated AI tools to support productivity on the tablet. According to the company, the device offers a PC-level productivity experience intended to simplify workflows, accelerate presentation creation and support content production.
This approach places the MatePad Air within Huawei’s wider effort to help users turn ideas into finished work without giving up portability. The tablet is therefore framed as part of a connected workflow rather than solely as a standalone screen.
Open-Ear Audio With a Design Focus
The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S uses an open-ear form factor for daily listening and calls, while its Airy C-bridge is made from skin-friendly liquid silicone. Huawei says this material is intended to make the earbuds feel softer and lighter during long periods of use.
The earbuds are available in Deepsea Blue and Space Silver under Huawei’s Luminous Aesthetics design philosophy. Their Luminous Charging Case is said to go through more than 100 precision manufacturing steps and offers 20% more interior space.
That added space can accommodate the earbuds alongside small personal accessories. Huawei also uses a luminous texture-spraying process involving 22 paint-mixing and spraying procedures to create the case’s metallic appearance.
Photography Remains a Core Device Role
Alongside its camera hardware, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series includes AI photography functions such as intelligent composition and image optimization. These features are intended to shorten the process from capturing an image to editing it.
The smartphone series follows Huawei’s Rhythm of Colour design philosophy, with clean body lines, layered colour finishes and a Dual-Tone Gradient Mid-Frame. The design elements are intended to give the flagship line a more distinct visual identity.
Huawei introduced the three devices at its Flagship Product Global Launch Event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 14 July 2026. Under the theme “Now is Your Moment,” the company highlighted a broader all-scenario ecosystem built around cross-device use.
Huawei said it will continue expanding this ecosystem to address a wider range of user needs. The strategy centres on more intelligent connected experiences that can improve efficiency in modern digital activities.
