A 185Hz OLED Screen Could Set Redmi K100 Pro Apart From Other Flagships

The Redmi K100 Pro is reportedly being prepared with a 185Hz flat OLED display, a refresh rate that would stand above the 120Hz and 144Hz panels commonly seen in flagship phones. The display is also said to use an ultra-high resolution, although its exact resolution has not been disclosed.

Two possible screen sizes have surfaced in earlier reports: 6.59 inches and 6.9 inches. Neither size has been confirmed, leaving the final panel configuration uncertain.

Digital Chat Station has shared the latest details on the device after previously revealing part of its specifications. The leaks point to a Redmi flagship focused not only on display speed, but also on battery capacity, performance, and camera hardware.

Flagship processing with dedicated graphics

For performance, the Redmi K100 Pro is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, described as Qualcomm’s next flagship processor. The phone is also rumored to include a dedicated graphics chip working alongside the main chipset.

This type of arrangement has appeared in Redmi K series devices before. Its purpose is to maintain stable and efficient gaming performance.

The reported battery may be one of the handset’s most significant features. At 8,500 mAh, it would be substantially larger than the capacity typically offered by many premium smartphones.

Redmi is said to be pairing that battery with 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. The combination would provide both a high-capacity power reserve and more than one charging option.

200 MP main camera and telephoto macro function

The camera system is rumored to retain a 200 MP main camera with a large sensor. That sensor is expected to capture more light, particularly in low-light environments.

A 50 MP telephoto camera is also expected on the rear. In addition to optical zoom, the lens is said to support macro photography for close-up subjects.

Other reported premium features include symmetrical stereo speakers, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. These additions suggest Redmi is targeting a broad flagship feature set rather than concentrating on a single area.

The Redmi K100 Pro is expected to launch in China first between September and October 2026. Xiaomi may introduce the device under a different name in global markets, following its established approach for the Redmi K Series.
