A Budget 4G Phone Built to Last, Realme C100x Brings an 8,000mAh Battery

The Realme C100x enters India’s budget 4G segment with an unusually large 8,000mAh battery and a chassis designed for tougher daily use. Rather than aiming to be an all-round flagship substitute, it focuses on endurance, physical protection, and a large display.

Its price is set at Rs. 14,499 for the sole version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone is offered in Deepblue Tides and Golden Coast through Realme’s website, Flipkart, and selected offline retail stores in India.

Battery capacity is the central feature

The 8,000mAh Battery supports 45W SuperVOOC charging, giving the device faster charging support alongside its high capacity. It also offers 6W reverse wired charging, allowing it to provide power to another device through a cable.

Realme says the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its capacity after seven years of normal use. This is a manufacturer claim and is positioned as part of the phone’s long-term durability appeal.

A build intended for demanding everyday conditions

The handset uses an ArmorShell chassis and carries MIL-STD-810H certification, along with IP64 protection against dust and water splashes. These specifications reinforce the device’s emphasis on physical resilience alongside battery life.

A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is included for unlocking, while a 3.5mm audio jack remains available for wired headphones. The rear Pulse Light LED can be customized for notifications and charging status.

For the display, the Realme C100x has a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports up to a 240Hz touch sampling rate and is rated for up to 900 nits of peak brightness.

The screen is protected by Panda@MN228 glass and includes Rain Touch Mode. The mode is intended to keep touch input responsive when fingers are wet or oily.

Entry-level hardware with expandable storage

The phone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset and a Mali-G57 GPU. Its standard configuration combines 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

Realme includes virtual RAM support and a dedicated microSD card slot with capacity support up to 2TB. This gives users an option to expand storage without giving up a SIM slot.

The device runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Its software features include AI Outdoor Mode for brightness and volume adjustments, plus AI Netpilot for helping stabilize connectivity in weak network areas.

According to Gizmochina, Google Gemini and Circle to Search are integrated into the handset. These functions can be accessed by pressing and holding the power button.

50MP camera for basic photography needs

The rear camera system is led by a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, the phone has a 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Available camera modes include Portrait, Night, and Panorama, as well as Dual-view video. Editing tools include object eraser and Smart Image Matting, providing basic post-capture options.

With its large battery, 45W SuperVOOC support, durable chassis, and expansive 120Hz display, the Realme C100x is aimed at buyers who prioritize practical longevity. The hardware configuration remains modest, but the package is clearly centered on daily reliability at its listed price.
