Vivo has positioned the T5 Lite 5G as an affordable handset with two specifications that are more commonly highlighted in higher product tiers: a 6,500mAh battery and a display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device also supports 44W wired charging and 5G connectivity.
The phone is scheduled to go on sale in India from July 22 through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. It will be offered in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.
Pricing Starts at Rs. 19,999
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G starts at Rs. 19,999 for the version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its 6GB + 128GB configuration costs Rs. 21,999, while the 6GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs. 24,999.
Gadgets360 reported that Vivo is offering an instant Rs. 1,500 discount for payments made using HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and SBI cards. Buyers can also choose a three-month no-cost instalment plan.

Large Battery in a Slim Chassis
The 6,500mAh battery is paired with 44W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C port. Vivo lists the handset at 8.39mm thick and approximately 209g in weight.
Its full dimensions are 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.39mm. The battery and display are the most prominent elements of the phone’s hardware package.
LCD Panel Reaches 120Hz
The T5 Lite 5G has a 6.74-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, has a pixel density of 260ppi, and reaches peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits.
Vivo also specifies 83 percent NTSC colour coverage for the panel. The handset carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
Dimensity 6300 and Expandable Storage
MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the phone and is built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor includes six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores reaching 2.4GHz.
The available configurations use LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
50MP Sony Main Camera
The rear camera system is led by a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 0.08MP secondary sensor with an f/3.0 aperture.
A 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies and video calls. The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and supports dual SIM use.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. Its sensor set includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope.
