Realme C100x arrives in India with an unusually large 8,000mAh battery for an entry-level phone. The device also supports 45W SuperVOOC charging, targeting users who want longer use between charging sessions.
Its battery-focused approach is supplemented by 6W reverse wired charging. That feature allows the handset to supply power to another device through a cable when needed.
Battery Life Is the Central Appeal
Realme says the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its original capacity after seven years of normal use. The claim places long-term battery durability alongside capacity as a core part of the C100x proposition.
The phone is sold in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration in India for Rs 14,499. It is offered in Deepblue Tides and Golden Coast, with sales handled through Realme’s website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.

A Large Screen With a Faster Refresh Rate
The C100x uses a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the resolution remains at HD+, the faster refresh rate is intended to make scrolling and interface transitions appear smoother than on 60Hz panels.
The display supports a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz and reaches peak brightness of 900 nits. Panda MN228 glass protects the screen, while Rain Touch Mode is designed to maintain responsiveness when fingers are wet or slightly oily.
Hardware Positioned for Everyday Tasks
Realme uses the octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor alongside a Mali-G57 GPU. The combination is intended for social media, web browsing, video streaming, and productivity apps rather than demanding games with high-end graphics.
The handset includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. A dedicated slot supports microSD cards up to 2TB, while Dynamic RAM Expansion uses part of the internal storage as virtual RAM.
Android 16 Software and AI Tools
Realme C100x runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Its AI Outdoor Mode adjusts screen brightness and volume for outdoor use, while AI Netpilot is intended to help maintain signal stability in weaker network areas.
Google Gemini and Circle to Search can be launched by pressing and holding the power button. The arrangement gives users access to search and AI assistance without opening a separate app first.
Cameras and Protective Features
The rear camera system is led by a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, while the front camera uses a 5MP f/2.2 sensor. Available camera modes include Portrait, Night Mode, Panorama, and Dual-view Video, which records with both front and rear cameras at the same time.
Object Eraser and Smart Image Matting provide AI-based photo editing functions. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a rear LED Pulse Light that can be customized for notifications and charging status.
Its reinforced ArmorShell structure is paired with MIL-STD-810H compliance and an IP64 rating. These protections are intended to address dust and water splashes during routine use, adding a durability element to the phone’s battery-led package.
