Realme Buds T500 Pro Combines 56-Hour Battery And 50dB ANC At An Entry-Level Price

Realme has pushed the Buds T500 Pro into India with a feature set that looks unusually dense for an affordable TWS model. The headline numbers are hard to ignore: up to 56 hours of total battery life, active noise cancellation rated as high as 50dB, and support for LHDC 5.0.

That combination places the earbuds in a competitive spot below ₹3,000, where buyers usually have to choose between battery, sound quality, or convenience. Realme is trying to cover all of those areas at once, while also adding call-focused hardware, multi-device support, and a few smart features that are rarely emphasized at this price.

Sound hardware aims above the entry level

At the center of the Buds T500 Pro is a 12.4mm dynamic driver with a titanium-coated diaphragm. Realme says this setup is designed to deliver fuller sound without losing clarity across music, video, and podcast use.

The inclusion of LHDC 5.0 matters in this segment because it is aimed at higher-resolution audio transmission on compatible devices. The final result still depends on the phone and source material, but the codec gives the earbuds a more premium technical profile than many low-cost rivals.

Noise cancellation and awareness modes

One of the most prominent features is the claimed 50dB ANC. Realme describes the system as adaptive, meaning the level of noise reduction can adjust to the surrounding environment and the fit of the earbuds.

A transparency mode is also available. This allows outside sounds to pass through more naturally, which can be useful in offices, public transport, or busy streets when full isolation is not ideal.

Battery life built for long use

Battery endurance is another major selling point. Realme claims the Buds T500 Pro can last up to 56 hours in total when paired with the charging case, making them a strong fit for users who dislike frequent charging.

  1. Earbud battery capacity: 62mAh per earbud
  2. Charging case capacity: 530mAh
  3. Playback without ANC on AAC: around 13–14 hours
  4. Playback with ANC enabled: around 8–9 hours, depending on usage
  5. Charging: USB-C, roughly one hour for the earbuds and about two hours for the case

This kind of battery performance makes the product more practical for commuters, students, and office users who want longer gaps between charging sessions.

Connectivity and low-latency features

Realme has also focused on everyday convenience. The Buds T500 Pro support Bluetooth 6.1, can connect to three devices at the same time, and include Google Fast Pair as well as Find My Earbuds.

For gaming and video use, the earbuds offer a 45ms low-latency mode. That feature is meant to reduce the delay between sound and image, helping playback feel more aligned during movies or mobile gaming.

Calls and translation get extra attention

Call quality is another area Realme seems eager to highlight. The Buds T500 Pro use a total of six microphones, a specification that often makes a noticeable difference in voice pickup and background noise handling in budget wireless earbuds.

The earbuds also include live translation features with face-to-face and two-way modes. That adds a productivity angle beyond entertainment, especially in situations where basic communication support can be useful.

Design, protection, and pricing

Each earbud weighs 4.5 grams, which should help with long-wear comfort. Realme also gives the model an IP55 rating, offering protection against sweat and light splashes for outdoor use or light exercise.

The color options are Chocolate, Lemon Cola, and Orange Mint. In India, the Buds T500 Pro are priced at ₹2,799, with an introductory price of ₹2,599, keeping them positioned aggressively in the crowded entry-level TWS market.
