HydroFlow Cooling And A 6,500mAh Battery Put Infinix GT 50 Pro On Long-Session Duty

Infinix is expanding its gaming lineup in Indonesia with the GT 50 Pro, a model aimed at users who want strong performance without sacrificing thermal stability. The device combines a fast chipset, a large battery, a high-refresh-rate display, and HydroFlow Liquid Cooling, which Infinix describes as its first industry-level liquid cooling approach.

The cooling system is one of the main selling points of the GT 50 Pro. Infinix says HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture uses a micro-pump to help move heat away from the device, with coverage that reaches up to 100 percent of the chipset area.

That focus on temperature control is tied directly to the needs of long gaming sessions. Jordan, Product Marketing Manager, said the technology was designed to keep temperatures steady when the phone is pushed through intense play.

For users who want more active cooling, Infinix also offers a Cooling Edition package with an external magnetic cooling accessory. The GT Cooling Set is positioned for heavier workloads and for users who need stronger temperature management.

Performance tuned for competitive gaming

Under the hood, the GT 50 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate with clock speeds of up to 3.25 GHz. Infinix frames the hardware as a fit for competitive mobile gaming, where responsiveness and sustained stability matter as much as raw speed.

The company also shared an AnTuTu score of 2,224,634 for the device. According to the technical data, that result is 26.45 percent higher than the previous generation, showing that the upgrade is meant to improve overall performance rather than a single specification alone.

Christian Sudibyo, Vice President Transsion Indonesia, said mobile gaming in Indonesia is growing rapidly, especially among young users, Gen Z, and millennials. That market trend appears to align with Infinix’s more aggressive push into gaming-focused devices.

Display and controls built for play

The GT 50 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. It also supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, making the screen suitable for a wide range of lighting conditions.

For gaming control, the phone includes Pressure-Sense GT Triggers on the side of the body. These capacitive shoulder buttons offer ten pressure-sensitivity levels, giving players more precise control in games that rely on fast input.

Battery and configuration options

Power management is supported by a 6500mAh battery, giving the GT 50 Pro enough capacity for extended daily use. Charging support includes 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, which helps the device stay practical for heavy use.

Infinix says the combination of a large battery and liquid cooling is intended for users who spend long periods gaming or running demanding apps. The company places the phone as a device that can stay comfortable and stable under continuous load.

The GT 50 Pro comes in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier. Sales started on 25 April 2026 through online shopping platforms in Indonesia, with the following official prices: 12GB + 256GB at Rp 6,999,000, discounted to Rp 6,499,000 for the launch offer; and 12GB + 512GB at Rp 7,999,000, discounted to Rp 7,499,000.

With its Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, 144Hz AMOLED display, large battery, GT Triggers, and HydroFlow Liquid Cooling, the GT 50 Pro is positioned as a new option for buyers looking for a gaming phone centered on sustained performance and thermal control.
