Lenovo is pushing back into the premium OLED gaming monitor space with the Lecoo W3259PS, and its most aggressive move may be the price. At 5,499 yuan, the 31.5-inch display combines a 4K panel, 240Hz refresh rate, and QD-OLED technology in a package aimed at players who want top-tier specifications without drifting too far into ultra-expensive territory.
The monitor is built around a QD-OLED panel, which gives each pixel its own light source. That design helps produce deep blacks and high contrast, two of the main reasons OLED panels remain attractive for gaming displays, while an anti-reflective coating is also included to reduce glare.
Built for speed first
For fast-paced games, Lenovo pairs the panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. The company also includes Adaptive Sync to help reduce screen tearing during motion-heavy scenes.
To support competitive play, the Lecoo W3259PS adds a crosshair overlay and preset modes for FPS and RTS games. Those additions place it squarely in the category of monitors that try to serve both performance-focused players and users who want practical gaming tools built in.
Color work is part of the package
The Lecoo W3259PS is not only chasing gamers who value speed. Lenovo also positions it as a display for color-sensitive work, thanks to a 10-bit panel capable of showing 1.07 billion colors.
Its color coverage reaches 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, and Lenovo says the monitor is factory calibrated to an average Delta E below 2. That level of calibration suggests a focus on color accuracy from the moment it leaves the box.
Comfort and daily use
For longer sessions, the monitor includes flicker-free technology and a hardware-based low blue light filter. Both are intended to reduce eye strain during extended use.
The stand is equally flexible, with support for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. Lenovo also provides 75 x 75 mm VESA mounting support for users who prefer a different desk setup.
Connectivity is kept practical
On the connection side, the Lecoo W3259PS offers one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, and one USB-C port. The USB-C connection supports up to 90W power delivery, which allows a compatible laptop to connect and charge through a single cable.
Lenovo also includes Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes. Those features make it easier to work with two input sources at the same time on one screen.
The overall formula is straightforward: 4K resolution, 240Hz performance, QD-OLED contrast, and a set of extras that cover gaming, creative work, and everyday use. With the Lecoo W3259PS, Lenovo is clearly trying to make a premium monitor feel more attainable without stripping away the features that define the segment.
