Hilary Duff ends a more than decade-long hiatus with the release of her sixth studio album, Luck… or Something. This marks her first new album since Breathe In. Breathe Out came out nearly 11 years ago.

The album, her debut under Atlantic Records, features 11 tracks including pre-release singles “Mature” and “Roommates.” It reflects her experiences of motherhood, marriage, and self-discovery in her 30s.

Duff explains that creating this album involved balancing personal sacrifices and artistic ambition. She has stated, “I had to sacrifice some things in order to put the record first,” emphasizing the importance of choosing oneself and confronting fears.

Produced by her husband Matthew Koma, known for collaborations with Britney Spears and P!nk, along with Brian Phillips who has worked with Alec Benjamin and blink-182, the album captures Duff’s journey through an often chaotic yet clarifying life phase.

Duff also addressed how she has maintained her composure in the entertainment industry over many years. She said the album title answers that question, symbolizing where she has landed after all her life experiences.

Supporting the album, Duff announced her first major global headlining tour in nearly 20 years. The tour will cover locations across North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. It begins with two shows in West Palm Beach, Florida, and extends into early 2027. Official tour information is available at hilaryduff.com/live.

Throughout her career, Duff has achieved significant commercial success. She boasts five consecutive top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, including number one hits with Metamorphosis (2003) and Most Wanted (2005). Additionally, she has placed seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

Luck… or Something is now available for streaming, and Billboard offers a detailed track-by-track review for listeners seeking deeper insight.
