REDMAGIC 11S Pro Pushes 4.74GHz, Liquid Cooling Targets Sustained Gaming Heat

REDMAGIC is leaning hard into one of the biggest challenges in gaming phones: heat. The upcoming REDMAGIC 11S Pro tries to solve that with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a more aggressive internal cooling setup built for sustained performance.

The company is pairing raw speed with liquid cooling, a 24,000 RPM fan, and a vapor chamber. That combination is meant to keep the phone stable during long gaming sessions, when both the chip and battery are under heavy load.

An overclocked chip at the center

Inside the 11S Pro is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “Leading Version.” REDMAGIC says the CPU in this overclocked variant can reach 4.74GHz, compared with 4.61GHz on the standard version.

The difference may look small on paper, but in a gaming phone it matters more when performance needs to stay consistent over extended use. REDMAGIC is clearly targeting users who care less about short bursts and more about sustained output.

The brand also says the cooling system improves heat transfer efficiency by up to 50%. That claim is not limited to the chipset, since the same system is also meant to help manage the temperature of the 7,500mAh battery.

Cooling is no longer an afterthought

REDMAGIC appears to have treated thermals as a core design priority rather than a supporting feature. The 11S Pro combines active fan cooling with liquid cooling loop technology and a vapor chamber, creating a layered approach to heat control.

That matters because the phone is designed for long gaming sessions, where performance drops can appear if temperatures rise too far. REDMAGIC is positioning the 11S Pro as a device that can keep pace without the usual thermal trade-offs.

The 11S Pro also replaces the REDMAGIC 10S Pro. That earlier model used an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite too, but it did not include liquid cooling.

Battery, charging, and everyday use

The battery has also grown to 7,500mAh, which is 450mAh larger than the REDMAGIC 10S Pro. For a gaming-focused phone, that extra capacity is part of the appeal, especially for users who spend long periods away from a charger.

REDMAGIC also adds wireless charging support at up to 80W. In a category where charging convenience often takes a back seat to gaming hardware, that is a notable addition.

The camera setup is more practical than flashy, but it still covers the basics. The rear system includes a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera, while the front uses a 16MP selfie camera.

Display built for uninterrupted play

On the front, the 11S Pro uses a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. REDMAGIC keeps the panel free of both a notch and a punch-hole, which helps preserve a clean full-screen look.

The display is rated for up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It also supports 2,592Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming, two features that should help make extended viewing more comfortable.

REDMAGIC rounds out the gaming experience with stereo speakers, a haptic motor, shoulder triggers, and RGB lighting. Those additions are aimed at improving control and giving the phone a more dedicated gaming-device feel.

Memory, software, and availability

For storage and memory, the base model starts with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A higher-end version offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The phone also includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. On the software side, it runs REDMAGIC OS 11.5 based on Android 16.

REDMAGIC sets the starting price at $799/€799, which is $100 higher than the launch price of the REDMAGIC 10S Pro. Early bird access begins on 9 June, and global availability starts on 10 June 2026.

The phone will launch in North America, Europe, the UK, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. With its overclocked chip, active liquid cooling, large battery, and uninterrupted 144Hz display, the REDMAGIC 11S Pro is being framed as a gaming flagship focused on staying fast when the heat builds up.
