Samsung is positioning the Galaxy A27 5G as more than just another midrange refresh. The phone combines a larger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 performance, and a deeper set of AI tools that push it closer to premium territory.
Its launch schedule is also set, with availability expected to begin across several markets on 3 July 2026. Samsung will offer the device in four color options: Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink.
Display and Design
The most visible change is the screen. Galaxy A27 5G uses a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a combination aimed at smoother scrolling, gaming, and video playback.
Samsung also moves to a more modern Infinity-O design with a smaller punch-hole cutout. Despite the large display, the phone remains slim at 7.8 mm, while the bezels are described as thinner and more symmetrical.
Performance, Memory, and Battery
Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 built on a 4nm process. Samsung says the CPU, GPU, and memory speed improvements are meant to make multitasking, streaming, and gaming feel more fluid.
The Galaxy A27 5G comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Storage can still be expanded with microSD cards of up to 2 TB, while the 5,000 mAh battery supports 25W fast charging.
Camera Setup and AI Features
Photography is led by a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization, supported by a 5 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front, Samsung includes a 12 MP selfie camera that is designed to capture richer colors and a wider dynamic range.
The bigger talking point, however, is the AI package. Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence features bring Circle to Search with the ability to recognize multiple objects in one image, including clothes and accessories, before letting users try outfits virtually through Google search results.
Other tools include Object Eraser for removing distracting objects and Voice Transcription for transcribing and translating voice recordings in up to 22 languages. The Galaxy A27 5G also supports Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Bixby.
Security, Software Support, and Durability
According to reporting from inet.detik.com, Samsung says AI integration is also more deeply connected with built-in apps such as Gallery so certain tasks can be completed faster through natural language commands. On the software side, the phone is promised six generations of Android and One UI updates, plus six years of security updates from global launch.
For protection, Samsung adds Knox Vault to keep sensitive information secured through hardware-based safeguards. The device also carries an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and water splashes.

Samsung has not announced the official price for the Galaxy A27 5G in Indonesia. The figure is expected to be revealed closer to the 3 July launch window.
