Tencent Cloud has introduced three AI agent solutions in Indonesia, signaling a stronger push to move routine work out of human workflows and into automated systems. The move was highlighted at AI Executive Day in Jakarta, where the company positioned agentic AI as a practical tool for daily business operations.
The event gathered more than 150 corporate leaders and technology partners to discuss real-world AI adoption. EY research cited at the meeting showed that most companies in Indonesia already treat AI as a top priority and are starting to focus on agentic AI.
WorkBuddy targets faster office productivity
One of the main offerings is Tencent WorkBuddy, an AI productivity agent built to turn a single instruction into a complete, ready-to-use output. It is designed for tasks such as market research, data analysis, and visualization, with specialized support for finance, legal, and marketing work.
WorkBuddy can also be connected to preferred language models through an API. It can be managed remotely through communication platforms such as Discord, Slack, and Telegram, after reportedly reaching more than 8.85 million monthly active users in its first month in China.
| Solution | Main Function | Key Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Tencent WorkBuddy | Workspace productivity | Market research, data analysis, visualization, finance, legal, and marketing support |
| Tencent Design Miora | AI-native creative studio | Persistent memory, graphics, video, 3D, and UI asset creation |
| TokenHub | Model-as-a-Service | Central API gateway to multiple LLMs, token and model performance control |
Miora and TokenHub expand the AI stack
Alongside WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora arrives as an AI-native creative studio with persistent memory. The solution is aimed at helping designers and marketers maintain brand consistency while reducing the time needed to create graphics, videos, 3D assets, and user interfaces from weeks to hours.
To support the ecosystem, Tencent also introduced TokenHub, a Model-as-a-Service platform. It works as a centralized API gateway to leading LLMs, giving companies more flexibility to manage token usage and model performance as internal AI adoption grows.
Vice President of Tencent Cloud Jimmy Chen said the company remains committed to supporting business modernization in Indonesia. He emphasized shifting execution-heavy work to AI so internal teams can focus more on innovation and strategic decision-making.
Broader enterprise adoption is already underway
The company’s local push is also reflected in its work with major Indonesian businesses. One example is XLSMART, which described how Tencent Cloud infrastructure supports operational modernization without disrupting service for millions of customers.
Director and Chief Information Technology Officer XLSMART, Yessie D. Yosetya, and Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud Poshu Yeung also explained how AI is being used to eliminate repetitive engineering work. The approach shows how agentic AI is starting to move into highly technical operational processes.
Tencent Cloud also supports large-scale cloud migration for the GoTo ecosystem. It has strengthened Bank Neo Commerce’s TDSQL database system, enabled remote eKYC verification for BRI, accelerated content delivery for DANA, and supported Telkomsel in palm-based content creation and verification.
For Indonesian companies, the arrival of WorkBuddy, Miora, and TokenHub points to a clear direction: AI is no longer just an idea, but a tool for speeding up work, preserving consistency, and cutting operational friction across sectors. Tencent Cloud appears to be aiming squarely at the infrastructure layer that can be embedded into everyday business processes.
