The package includes the move to Android 17 alongside system-level updates. Owners who do not see the notification immediately may simply be outside the current rollout wave.
The large file size makes storage preparation especially important for this model. Users should avoid starting the download without enough available space for both the package and installation process.
2. Xiaomi 17
Xiaomi 17 is also receiving HyperOS 3.3 as a public release in Global and European markets. Its download package is 7.5 GB, which is smaller than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra update.
Android 17 is included in the release, but the update is not described as a major visual redesign. The emphasis is instead on system stability and the June 2026 Android security patch.
This means users should not expect an extensive set of new interface features from HyperOS 3.3. The update is primarily positioned as a system maintenance and security release.
3. Xiaomi 15T Pro
Xiaomi 15T Pro Global owners are included in the HyperOS 3.3 rollout with a 7.5 GB package. However, the software is currently limited to the Mi Pilot channel rather than a general public release.
Mi Pilot distribution gives only some users access during the restricted phase. A broader release may follow after Xiaomi expands availability beyond the testing group.
Major interface changes are not the focus
Despite bringing Android 17, HyperOS 3.3 is not expected to introduce a major overhaul of Xiaomi’s design or feature set. The available change details focus on stability improvements and security updates.
More extensive interface and feature changes are expected to arrive with HyperOS 4. That version is anticipated in August 2026 alongside the Xiaomi 18 series.
How to check for the update
Users can check their phones by opening Settings, selecting About Phone, and tapping the HyperOS logo. If the update is available, the device will provide on-screen instructions for downloading and installing it.
Receiving the same model in the same region does not guarantee identical timing for every user. Staged deployment can leave some devices waiting until a later distribution wave.
