Lenovo has given the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 a more premium edge by adding Intel Lunar Lake options to its 16-inch business laptop lineup. The update is most notable for pairing the new platform with 32 GB of RAM, which makes the machine more appealing for professionals who want a large-screen office laptop with strong efficiency and generous memory.
The new configuration positions the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 as a more capable option for everyday business use, especially for users who work with demanding multitasking workloads. Lenovo is not turning it into a flashy high-end machine, but the hardware choices clearly push it closer to the premium side of the business segment.
Intel Lunar Lake joins the configuration list
For the Intel-based versions, Lenovo offers several processor choices rather than a single entry-level model. The lineup includes Core Ultra 5 228V, Core Ultra 5 236V, Core Ultra 5 238V, Core Ultra 7 258V, and Core Ultra 7 268V.
That range gives buyers more room to match the laptop to their workload. Some will only need a balanced setup for standard office tasks, while others may prefer a higher-tier chip for heavier business applications.
32 GB RAM stands out as the key upgrade
The most eye-catching part of the new variant is the inclusion of 32 GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory. For a business laptop, that amount of RAM helps the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 feel better prepared for multitasking, large documents, and memory-intensive workflows.
This memory configuration also makes the machine look more polished in Lenovo’s business portfolio. Rather than relying on a basic office setup, the new model aims at users who want more headroom without leaving the ThinkPad identity behind.
Display options stay focused on productivity
Lenovo keeps the display strategy restrained. The ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 can be ordered with one of four screen options, and all of them use IPS 1200p panels with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Storage and battery choices add flexibility
The laptop is also available with 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage. Alongside that, Lenovo offers two battery sizes: 52.5 Wh and 86 Wh.

Pricing starts at a premium level
In the United States, the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 starts at $1,739 for the Core Ultra 5 228V model with 32 GB RAM. In the United Kingdom, the starting price is £1,409 for the same configuration.
Elsewhere, the starting price is AUD 2,259 in Australia. In the eurozone, Lenovo lists pricing in the range of €1,578 to €1,781 depending on configuration.
The laptop is not yet available to order in Canada. Even so, the global rollout adds a new option for buyers who want a larger ThinkPad with Intel Lunar Lake and 32 GB of memory in a business-focused package.
