Motorola’s Moto Buds 2 is trying to reshape what buyers should expect from a budget TWS in India. Priced at 2,799 rupees, the earbuds pack a feature set that looks unusually ambitious for the segment, with LDAC, Hi-Res Audio, Spatial Audio, and Dynamic ANC rated up to 55dB.
That positioning matters because Moto Buds 2 is not being pitched as a basic pair of wireless earbuds. Instead, Motorola is pushing it as an option for listeners who want more premium audio features without moving into a higher price bracket.
Noise control and call quality take center stage
The headline feature is the 55dB Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation, which stands out sharply at this price. Motorola also includes Transparency Mode, giving users a way to stay aware of surrounding sounds without taking the earbuds out.
Call performance has also been given extra attention. Moto Buds 2 carries six microphones, paired with CrystalTalk AI and Environmental Noise Cancellation to improve voice clarity in noisy environments.
A dual-driver setup for a fuller sound profile
Motorola is using a dual-driver configuration on Moto Buds 2, combining an 11 mm dynamic driver with a 6 mm micro planar magnetic driver. The setup is designed to deliver deeper bass while keeping vocals clearer.
That audio package is reinforced by LDAC and Hi-Res Audio support. Together, those features push the earbuds closer to a premium listening experience than is usually expected in the sub-3,000 rupees category.
Spatial Audio and gaming-friendly extras
Moto Buds 2 also adds Spatial Audio, which should appeal to users who watch films or play games on TWS earbuds. The wider sound presentation is meant to create a more immersive listening experience.
Connectivity and usage features round out the package. The earbuds run on Bluetooth 6.0 and include dual-device pairing, wear detection, gaming mode, and Moto AI integration for Motorola’s ecosystem.
Battery life and durability are built for daily use
Battery life is another strong point. Motorola claims up to 11 hours of playback on the earbuds alone, and up to 48 hours when the charging case is included.
Fast charging is supported as well, although Motorola does not specify the exact charging duration. For everyday use, the earbuds also come with an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
Motorola is aiming directly at a crowded segment
Moto Buds 2 is set to go on sale from 25 May 2026 through Flipkart and other retail channels in India. It arrives alongside the Moto G37 series as part of Motorola’s wider audio push in the market.
At 2,799 rupees, the earbuds will face competition from budget TWS models from brands such as OnePlus and Realme. But with LDAC, a dual-driver system, Bluetooth 6.0, and 55dB ANC in one package, Moto Buds 2 is making a clear attempt to stand out in a segment where premium features are still uncommon.
