MacBook Neo Brings Apple’s Premium Feel to iBox at a More Reachable Rp9,9 Juta

MacBook Neo has arrived at iBox with a starting price of Rp9.9 million, giving Apple a new entry point into the premium laptop segment that is easier to reach. The launch immediately puts the device in the spotlight for buyers who want a light, practical machine that still carries the familiar Apple experience.

iBox has begun selling the laptop both in physical stores and through its official website. During the launch period, the retailer is also offering additional incentives, including up to two months of free installments, depending on the payment method from selected partners and subject to quota availability.

A premium device with a lower entry price

The biggest draw is not only the price tag, but also how Apple keeps the device positioned above typical budget laptops. MacBook Neo still uses a lightweight aluminum chassis that preserves the premium feel associated with the MacBook line.

Its display is another key attraction. The laptop comes with a 13-inch Liquid Retina panel, high-resolution output, strong brightness optimization, and support for up to one billion colors, making it suitable for sharp multimedia viewing and light creative work that depends on accurate visuals.

Built for everyday mobility

On the performance side, MacBook Neo relies on Apple’s own system-on-chip architecture. The company says the system can handle daily workloads, from basic computing to artificial intelligence processing, while remaining highly power efficient.

That efficiency is part of the appeal for users who work on the move. With lower power consumption, the device is designed to support busy routines without depending too heavily on frequent charging.

Tied closely to Apple’s ecosystem

MacBook Neo runs macOS Tahoe and connects directly with the broader Apple ecosystem. One of the highlighted benefits is synchronization with iPhone, which adds value for users who already use Apple products across multiple devices.

The laptop also comes with built-in apps such as Safari, Pages, and Calendar. That makes it ready for use from the start, without requiring many additional installations before getting to work.

Launch activity and after-sales support

iBox is also showcasing the device through an interactive event at Mal Kota Kasablanka in Jakarta, which runs until 24 May. The retail push is backed by Erajaya Digital, iBox’s parent company, which sees the laptop as a response to market demand for high-performance devices at a friendlier price point.

The launch package is further strengthened by a 12-month Mac device protection guarantee. Combined with the Rp9.9 million starting price, the 13-inch Liquid Retina display, the lightweight aluminum body, Apple’s power-efficient SoC, and macOS Tahoe, MacBook Neo is being positioned as a more accessible but still premium option in iBox’s lineup.
