The appeal of iQoo’s latest Z11 series is not only its battery size, but also how the company tries to keep the phones practical for everyday use. In a market where mid-range devices often force a trade-off between endurance and comfort, the Z11 and Z11x are positioned to avoid that compromise.
That approach is reflected in the way iQoo packages performance, battery life, display, charging, and durability into a single message. Rather than pushing capacity alone, the brand is presenting both models as complete devices for users who want long-lasting power without an overly bulky feel.
Two models, two battery targets
The higher-end iQoo Z11 carries a 9,020 mAh battery and runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The more affordable iQoo Z11x comes with a 7,200 mAh battery and uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo.
Janardana Rabinnur, Product Manager of iQoo Indonesia, emphasized that a large battery does not have to make a phone thick and heavy. Through the Z11 series, iQoo wants to show that a high-endurance device can still feel comfortable in the hand and remain practical for daily use.
Software and protection are part of the package
Both phones launch with Android 16 and OriginOS 6, which gives the series a current software foundation. iQoo also gives the Z11 and Z11x IP68/IP69 certification, adding a layer of protection that matters for users with high mobility.
That combination makes the devices more relevant for people who need extra resistance against water and dust. It also supports iQoo’s broader message that battery life should not stand alone as the only selling point.
Different displays, different priorities
The Z11 uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 2,800 x 1,260-pixel resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It also gets Icecore Cooling, which is aimed at heavy use, including long gaming sessions.
The Z11x takes a different route with a 6.76-inch Full HD Plus IPS LCD display and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This separation makes the two models clearly distinct, with the Z11 leaning more toward higher-end specifications.
Camera and charging differences
On the imaging side, the Z11 features a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS, a 2 MP depth camera, and a 32 MP front camera. It also supports 90 watt fast charging.
The Z11x is equipped with a 50 MP Sony IMX853 main camera, a 2 MP depth camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Its charging support is lower at 44 watt, matching its more affordable positioning.
Built for different users
The hardware differences between the two models are concentrated in the display, chipset, and charging speed. That leaves the Z11 as the stronger choice for users who want higher specifications, while the Z11x serves as a more accessible option that still keeps battery capacity at the center.
iQoo’s direction with the series is consistent with a broader trend in the mid-range segment, where endurance needs to be delivered without making the phone feel excessive. With large batteries, IP68/IP69 protection, and the latest operating system, the Z11 series is aimed at active users who want a long-lasting phone that still feels manageable.
Pre-orders for the iQoo Z11 series opened on 25 May 2026 through official online channels. Offline sales are scheduled to follow on 31 May 2026, giving buyers time to choose the model that best fits their needs for display quality, performance, and charging speed.
