Vivo T5 4G Raises The Bar With A 7,200mAh Battery And IP68/IP69 Protection At A Modest Price

Vivo T5 4G stands out in the mid-range segment by pairing a 7200mAh battery with IP68 and IP69 protection, while still keeping its pricing within reach. That combination makes the phone unusual for its class, especially because it also brings a 120Hz display and a relatively affordable tag.

The device has launched in Mexico, where it is positioned as a practical option for users who want more than the typical balance of battery life or basic performance. Vivo appears to be targeting buyers who value endurance, durability, and a smooth screen experience in a single package.

Large display with a high refresh rate

Vivo equips the T5 4G with a 6.75-inch LCD panel. The screen uses a 1570 x 720 pixel resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.

The display also reaches HBM brightness of up to 1250 nits. That should help visibility when the phone is used outdoors under direct sunlight.

Mid-range hardware with generous memory

For processing power, the Vivo T5 4G relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Vivo also adds up to 8GB of extended RAM. The feature is intended to keep multitasking steady when the phone is pushed through multiple apps.

Battery endurance is the main highlight

The most prominent feature of the Vivo T5 4G is its 7200mAh battery. That capacity places the phone among the more endurance-focused options in its category.

To make recharging less of a burden, Vivo includes 44W fast charging. The setup aims to balance long battery life with practical charging times.

Camera, software, and security

On the back, the phone carries a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the front camera uses a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Vivo T5 4G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It also places the fingerprint scanner on the side of the body for quick authentication.

Durability and connectivity extras

Beyond battery size, the device gains extra appeal from its IP68 and IP69 certifications. Those ratings give it stronger resistance to water and dust, a rare advantage in this price range.

Connectivity includes dual SIM 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and an infrared blaster. Vivo offers the phone in Black and Gold, with a single memory option of 8GB + 256GB.

The Vivo T5 4G is priced at MXN 5,799, or around US$335. With its large battery, 120Hz display, durability ratings, and ample storage, it enters the mid-range market as a highly distinctive package.
