Realme Watch S5 arrives as a new option in the mid-range wearable segment with a strong mix of display, battery life, and health tracking. Its starting price of INR 7.499 places it at about Rp1,4 jutaan, making it stand out for users who want a smartwatch that looks more premium without moving far up the price ladder.
The device was launched alongside the Realme 16T in India, signaling that realme is continuing to strengthen its AIoT lineup. Rather than positioning the watch as a simple accessory for phone users, the company is pushing it as a more complete wearable for daily use.
A more refined look in an affordable package
Watch S5 uses a modern round design that gives it a cleaner and more elegant appearance than many entry-level smartwatches. Realme protects the front with Panda Glass and builds the body with an aluminum alloy finish to support the more premium impression.
The watch carries a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 pixel resolution. It also reaches up to 1,000 nits of brightness, which should help readability outdoors.
For everyday wear, realme uses a silica gel strap and lists the total weight at around 49.6 grams including the band. The underside housing the health sensors is made from PVC.
Health tracking stays central
Realme has equipped Watch S5 with a fairly complete set of health features. Users can track heart rate, blood oxygen or SpO2, sleep quality, and women’s health.
The smartwatch also supports VO2 Max measurement and daily activity tracking. On top of that, realme includes more than 110 sports modes for users who want broader workout monitoring.
That feature set makes the watch more than just a style-focused device. In its price class, it is clearly aimed at users who want a stronger balance between everyday wear and fitness monitoring.
Battery life is the headline feature
One of the strongest points of Watch S5 is its battery endurance. Realme says the 460mAh battery can last up to 20 days in Smart Mode.
In regular use, the claimed battery life reaches up to 16 days. For many buyers, that level of endurance may be one of the most practical reasons to consider the device, especially for those who do not want to charge a smartwatch too often.
Connectivity and daily convenience
Realme uses the ATS3089 chipset in Watch S5, paired with 16MB of RAM and 4GB of NAND storage for core smartwatch functions. The device also supports Bluetooth 5.4, Bluetooth Calling, and built-in GPS.
These additions make the watch more useful for short calls and location tracking during daily activities. Realme also gives it a 5ATM water resistance rating, so it remains suitable for rain and light water-based exercise.
Beyond the main specs, the watch includes Always-On Display, music controls, customizable watch faces, and a functional crown for easier navigation. Realme offers it in Rock Grey and Sand White, with sales starting on 5 June in India.
