Oppo’s next Find X10 is shaping up to be far more aggressive than an ordinary mid-cycle refresh. Early testing points to a phone that could combine a massive 8,000mAh battery, a 200MP main camera, and a 3nm chipset in one flagship package.
That mix is unusual even by premium smartphone standards. It suggests Oppo is not treating the standard model as a basic entry point, but as one of the most important devices in the new Find X lineup.
A flagship build with an unusually large battery
The biggest attention-grabber is the reported 8,000mAh battery. That figure has appeared in more than one report, which makes it look increasingly consistent for the standard Find X10.
For a modern flagship, that capacity is enormous. Paired with a 3nm chipset designed for better efficiency, the phone could stand out not only for speed but also for very strong battery life in daily use.
Display and performance are also moving upward
The Find X10 is said to be under testing with a 6.59-inch display, 1.5K resolution, and an LTPO panel. It is also expected to support a 165Hz refresh rate, a very high figure for a flagship-class device.
On the performance side, the phone is being evaluated with a 3nm Dimensity chipset. Earlier reports suggested that this chip may be an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9500 and could end up as the Dimensity 9500 Plus.
That combination of LTPO display tech, a high refresh rate, and a 3nm platform shows that Oppo is aiming for more than just efficiency. The direction points to top-tier performance as well.
Camera testing is still open, but the numbers are bold
Photography is another area where Oppo appears to be testing multiple options. The main camera is said to be a Samsung HPC sensor with 200MP resolution, but the exact sensor size is still being evaluated.
One prototype uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, while another uses a slightly smaller 1/1.4-inch unit. Sensor size matters because it usually affects light capture, so the dual testing suggests Oppo has not settled on the final balance yet.
The periscope telephoto camera is also part of the testing process. Oppo is reportedly considering either a 64MP periscope with a 1/2-inch sensor or a 200MP periscope with a 1/1.56-inch sensor.
Premium extras are part of the plan
Beyond the headline specs, the Find X10 is also said to include an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, high-level water resistance, and a customizable AI button. Those details reinforce the idea that Oppo wants the phone to feel fully premium, not just powerful on paper.
An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is typically associated with higher-end phones. The customizable AI button adds a more flexible control option, while strong water resistance gives the device practical value for everyday use.
The broader Find X lineup is also shifting
The Find X10 is not expected to arrive alone. The series is also said to include a compact 6.32-inch model and the Find X9 Pro.
At the same time, reports say the Find X9 Pro Max may be delayed or even canceled. That makes the standard Find X10 more important within the lineup, especially because it is already appearing with unusually large upgrades.
The top-end model in the family is said to be the Find X10 Ultra, which is expected to use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip and arrive in the first half of 2027. With that structure, the regular Find X10 is emerging as one of the most closely watched models in Oppo’s next generation.
