BenQ has introduced a new lineup of Mac-focused monitors in Indonesia under the MA Series, aiming to give Mac users a larger display without losing the visual consistency they expect from Apple devices. The company says the monitors are built around color accuracy, brightness control, and simple connectivity through a single USB-C or Thunderbolt cable.
The lineup includes four main models already available in Indonesia, while one additional model is scheduled for later availability. BenQ positions the series for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and Mac Studio users who want a cleaner desk setup and a display that matches the look and feel of macOS.
A monitor line tailored for Mac users
BenQ says the MA Series was created because many Mac users want a bigger screen for daily work. President Director BenQ Indonesia Andryanto C Wijaya said at the launch in Jakarta that the company focused on “color, experience and convenience” while keeping the setup simple with one cable.
That single-cable approach is central to the new lineup. Depending on the model, the monitor can carry video, data, and power delivery through USB-C or Thunderbolt, reducing cable clutter for users who connect a MacBook to an external display for work, creative tasks, or multitasking.
The MA Series also brings Mac-friendly features such as automatic brightness and volume synchronization, along with BenQ’s Display Pilot 2 interface that is designed to feel closer to macOS. The company also includes Mac Color Match on the lineup to help keep the display aligned with Apple hardware.
The four main models now in Indonesia
BenQ is selling several MA Series variants in Indonesia, each with different panel treatments, sizes, and feature sets. The options cover users who prefer glossy screens, matte finishes, or higher refresh rates for smoother motion.
- MA270UP and MA320UP: Nano Glass 4K models in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes.
- MA270U and MA320U: Nano Matte 4K models in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes.
- MA270S: a 5K Nano Glass model positioned as the flagship.
- MA320UG: a 32-inch 4K model with a 120Hz refresh rate and Nano Gloss.
The glossy and matte differences matter for different work environments. Nano Glass aims to deliver stronger contrast and deep blacks, while Nano Matte helps reduce reflections in brighter rooms or near windows.
Specs that target creative work
The MA270UP and MA320UP use 4K UHD resolution at 3840 x 2160 and come with IPS Nano Glass panels. BenQ lists brightness up to 400 nits, HDR400 support, and color coverage reaching 99% sRGB and 95–97% P3.
These models also offer USB-C with 90W power delivery, plus another USB-C port with 15W support for charging devices such as an iPad or iPhone. Two HDMI ports and a USB hub are included as well, giving the monitor flexibility beyond Mac-only use.
The stand can be adjusted for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot. BenQ says the Nano Gloss finish helps preserve the familiar appearance of the MacBook screen, which is useful for photo and video editing where color matching matters.
Matte and higher-end options for heavier workloads
The MA270U and MA320U variants use Nano Matte panels that are meant to cut reflections without sacrificing color accuracy. BenQ says these models are suitable for users who work under strong lighting or close to windows, and they carry TUV Rheinland Eye-Care certification for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free features.
The flagship MA270S brings a 5K Nano Gloss display with 32-inch size, 450 nits brightness, and about 98–99% P3 color gamut. It also uses Thunderbolt 4 with 96W power delivery, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, USB hub support, and Daisy Chain for two 4K monitors.
BenQ adds Smart KVM and Power-off Charging on this model, along with a fully adjustable stand. The company highlights the 120Hz refresh rate as a benefit for smoother scrolling, editing timelines, and general motion handling.
Pricing and availability in Indonesia
BenQ says all four main monitor models are already available in Indonesia through both online and offline stores. The prices start in the Rp. 9 jutaan range and move up depending on size and features.
- MA270U: Rp 9 jutaan
- MA320U: Rp 12 jutaan
- MA270UP: Rp 11 jutaan
- MA320UP: Rp 15 jutaan
- MA270S: Rp 23 jutaan
The MA320UG will go on sale in the third quarter of 2026, and BenQ has not revealed its price yet. For Mac users who want a larger external display with a focus on color consistency, fewer cables, and hardware features that fit Apple workflows, the MA Series gives several choices across different budgets and use cases.
