A 4K Gaming Tablet With Laptop-Class Ambition, iQOO Pad 6 Pro Packs Elite Power

The iQOO Pad 6 Pro is being positioned as more than a conventional Android tablet. With a 4K display, flagship-class silicon, and a large cooling system, the device is framed as a portable gaming machine that feels closer to a mini gaming laptop than a general-purpose slate.

That positioning is reinforced by the hardware iQOO chose. The tablet combines a 13.2-inch 4K panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, and Dolby Vision support, giving it a spec sheet aimed squarely at users who care about both speed and image quality.

A display built for fast-moving content

The large screen is one of the clearest signs that iQOO wants this tablet to appeal to gamers first. A 144 Hz refresh rate should help motion look smoother, while the claimed touch response is meant to make input feel more immediate during gameplay.

Brightness also appears to be part of the strategy. With a peak level of 1,200 nits, the panel is designed to remain usable under more demanding lighting conditions, while Dolby Vision adds another layer to the visual package.

Flagship performance at the center

Under the hood, the iQOO Pad 6 Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Elite. That processor is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and as much as 512 GB of internal storage, placing the tablet firmly in premium territory.

iQOO says the hardware tuning allows the device to reach an AnTuTu score of up to 4.44 million points. The company also adds its own Monster Overcore Engine, which is part of the push to keep performance consistent when the tablet is under heavy load.

That combination is claimed to be strong enough to run 13 demanding games natively at 4K resolution. Some popular shooter titles are also said to stay stable at 4K with a constant 144 FPS when Booster Plus Mode is used.

Cooling is treated as a core feature

High-end performance usually depends on thermal control, and iQOO appears to have made that a priority here. The Pad 6 Pro comes with a 3D VC Cooling System that includes a vapor chamber larger than 71,000 mm².

That setup is intended to help the tablet maintain stable output over longer gaming sessions. It also supports iQOO’s broader effort to reduce throttling, especially when the device is pushed hard for extended periods.

Battery and charging match the aggressive hardware

Powering the tablet is a 13,000 mAh battery, a capacity that suits a large-screen device built for long sessions away from a charger. The size of the battery also aligns with the tablet’s gaming-first identity.

When charging is needed, the device supports 90W fast charging. That pairing of a large battery and fast top-up speeds makes the Pad 6 Pro more practical for users who expect sustained use and quick turnaround times.

A premium tablet with a narrow but clear target

The iQOO Pad 6 Pro is not being presented as a do-it-all family tablet. Its mix of 4K visuals, top-tier performance, large-scale cooling, and fast charging makes it more relevant to gamers and power users who want a large Android device with serious headroom.

In that sense, the tablet is set up to compete in the premium gaming tablet segment, where it may face devices such as the Red Magic Gaming Tablet and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Ultra series. Global and Indonesian availability will remain an important question for anyone interested in this unusually aggressive tablet package.
