Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with two new robot vacuums, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro. The main selling point is not only stronger cleaning performance, but also a dock system that reduces how often users need to deal with dust, water, and mop maintenance manually.
The company is clearly leaning into convenience as a core feature for this category. Instead of focusing only on suction power and navigation, Xiaomi is also targeting the repetitive upkeep that usually comes after the vacuum finishes its job.
The more advanced H50 Pro
Among the two models, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro sits at the top. It comes with 15,000Pa suction, designed to lift dust, dirt, and pet hair from both carpets and hard floors.
Xiaomi also equips the Pro model with an extending side brush and a mop pad that can move outward. That combination is meant to improve cleaning along corners, wall edges, and narrow gaps.
Its dock is the centerpiece of the system. The station handles dust collection, mop washing, and hot-air drying in one automated sequence, and Xiaomi says it can store dust for up to 75 days before needing manual emptying.
Navigation, anti-tangle design, and battery life
For movement around the home, the H50 Pro uses laser-based navigation. It also supports obstacle detection and whole-home mapping, helping it plan cleaning routes more efficiently.
Xiaomi has also added an anti-tangle brush system to the Pro model. The feature is intended to reduce hair wrapping around the brush, which is especially useful in homes with long hair or pets.
The battery capacity is 5,200mAh, and Xiaomi claims the robot can run for up to 180 minutes. In that span, it is said to clean as much as 240 square meters on a single charge.
A more affordable option with premium features
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 sits below the Pro version, but it still brings several features usually associated with higher-end models. Its suction power is rated at 10,000Pa, which is lower than the Pro, but still strong enough for everyday home cleaning.
It also uses LDS laser navigation and comes with an all-in-one docking station. That dock supports automatic dust collection and water tank management, so the standard model still benefits from a more hands-off cleaning experience.
Like the Pro, the H50 also uses an anti-tangle brush design. Xiaomi is using that shared feature to reduce the need for frequent manual cleaning of the brush assembly after repeated use.
App control and pricing
Both robot vacuums can be managed through the Xiaomi Home app. Users can set cleaning schedules, create virtual walls, and choose specific zones for targeted cleaning.
That app-based control gives the devices more flexibility in daily use. It lets users restrict certain areas or send the robot to spots that need more attention without changing the rest of the cleaning plan.
Xiaomi launched the two models as part of a broader product event that also included the Xiaomi 17T series, Smart Band 10 Pro, and Xiaomi Buds 6. The rollout shows that the company is continuing to build out its smart home ecosystem alongside its mobile products.
Pricing places the H50 and H50 Pro in different tiers. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 starts at £359 in the UK and €399 in Europe, while the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro is priced at £459 in the UK and €499 in Europe.
