Ugreen has introduced a new 10,000mAh power bank in China that tries to do more than simply deliver fast charging. The PB541 combines 45W output, a built-in USB-C cable, and a color display that shows detailed charging data in real time.
The most unusual part is not the capacity or the speed, but the way Ugreen has turned a common accessory into something more informative. Through the screen and Bluetooth support, the PB541 gives users more visibility into battery status and even opens the door to custom screen images through the Ugreen Smart Life app.
A display that shows more than battery percentage
Unlike many power banks that hide their information behind a few LED indicators, the PB541 uses a side-mounted color screen. It can show battery percentage, charging power, estimated charging time, temperature, and battery health.
That makes the device easier to monitor during daily use, especially for users who want a clearer picture of what the power bank is doing while it charges a phone or recharges itself.
The Bluetooth feature adds another layer of personalization. Once paired with the Ugreen Smart Life app, the power bank can accept custom images for the display, giving it a more flexible role than a standard utility device.
Built-in cable and broad charging support
The red USB-C cable attached to the PB541 is part of the design rather than an extra accessory. It also works as a carrying strap, while supporting up to 45W output and up to 36W input when used to recharge the power bank itself.
Users who prefer a separate cable are not limited by the built-in one. Ugreen also includes an additional USB-C port with the same 45W output and 36W input limits, along with one USB-A port that tops out at 22.5W for older devices.
The PB541 uses a 2C+1A port layout and can charge up to three devices at the same time. Its supported charging protocols include PD, PPS, QC, AFC, and FCP.
| Key PB541 Charging Details | Specification |
|---|---|
| Battery capacity | 10,000mAh |
| Maximum USB-C output | 45W |
| Maximum USB-C input | 36W |
| USB-A output | 22.5W |
| Charging protocols | PD, PPS, QC, AFC, FCP |
Battery design and safety management
Inside the body, Ugreen uses two 5,000mAh ATL lithium-ion polymer cells arranged in series, bringing the total energy rating to 39.1Wh. The company says the battery is rated for 800 charge cycles, which it describes as an improvement over older models.
For power management, the PB541 uses Ugreen’s Battery Management System. It monitors the lithium cobalt oxide cells and can display diagnostic warnings on the screen if it detects temperature issues or charging anomalies.
Smaller body, familiar core hardware
The new model measures 111 x 71 x 17.8 mm and weighs 226.4 grams. Its shell is made from standard PC and ABS plastic, keeping the design practical rather than premium-looking.
Ugreen says the PB541 shares many core components and charging specifications with the earlier PB610 45W power bank. The difference is in the layout, since the screen has been moved to the side and the overall profile has been made slimmer.
That design change gives the PB541 a more distinctive identity while also making the built-in strap cable feel more useful for everyday carry. For users who want a compact 45W power bank with more visibility into battery behavior, the PB541 is positioned as a more feature-rich option than a basic backup charger.
Ugreen has priced the PB541 at 199 yuan on JD.com. At that level, the company is clearly leaning on display features, charging flexibility, and app connectivity to stand out in the crowded 10,000mAh segment.
