iQOO has started drawing attention in China with an early teaser for the iQOO Z11i, a budget phone that is trying to look anything but ordinary. The first thing the brand chose to highlight is not a price or a benchmark score, but a design direction that leans more polished and visual than many entry-level rivals.
That approach fits the wider iQOO Z11 lineup, which is already known for having several members. For the newest model, the company is putting color and presentation front and center before sharing full launch details.
Three colors, three distinct moods
The iQOO Z11i is confirmed to arrive in Green Peak, Desert Gold, and Ink Shadow. Each option gives the phone a different personality, ranging from fresh green to a sand-inspired gold tone and a deep black finish.
That kind of finish is important in the entry segment, where many devices compete mostly on price. iQOO appears to be betting that a more attractive visual identity can help the Z11i stand out before shoppers even look at the specifications.
A large battery leads the hardware story
The most eye-catching hardware detail is the 6,500mAh battery, which is unusually large for a device in this category. It suggests a clear focus on endurance for users who spend long hours on social media, video streaming, and casual gaming.
Charging, however, is less aggressive on paper. The phone is said to support only 15W charging, which means topping up the large battery may take longer than many users would prefer.
Display and performance details are aimed at everyday comfort
Leaked specifications point to a 6.74-inch LCD with a 720×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. If accurate, that combination should make scrolling and menu navigation feel smoother than on many basic phones.
The panel is also said to reach 1,200 nits of brightness, a figure that would help the screen remain readable outdoors. For a low-cost model, that would be a practical advantage rather than a headline-grabbing luxury feature.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z11i is rumored to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 from Qualcomm. It is not a chipset built for heavy flagship-grade gaming, but it should still handle everyday tasks and popular games such as Mobile Legends and Free Fire.
Memory options stay practical for the segment
iQOO is also expected to offer the phone with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, alongside 128GB and 256GB storage variants. That setup should be enough for app installs, media files, and routine game updates without pushing the device into a premium price bracket.
For now, iQOO has only shown the teaser in China and has not revealed the launch date or official pricing. Availability outside China also remains unclear, so the Z11i is still at the stage where the brand is building interest rather than completing the picture.
Even so, the message is already clear: the iQOO Z11i is being shaped as an entry-level phone that relies on color, a fast-feeling display, and a very large battery to separate itself from the usual budget crowd. The full story will depend on the official announcement, but the early signs point to a device designed to feel more considered than its class might suggest.
