Boat has added a new twist to the open-ear category in India with the launch of the Airdopes ProClip, a clip-on TWS that focuses on comfort, awareness of surroundings, and a low entry price. At 1.599 Rupee, it positions itself as one of the more affordable ways to try open-ear audio without moving into a premium segment.

The model is aimed at people who move between meetings, commutes, and workouts, and who want music or calls without fully blocking outside sound. That makes the Airdopes ProClip relevant for daily commuters, office users, and outdoor exercisers who prefer a lighter listening experience.

Affordable open-ear design with a lightweight build

The Airdopes ProClip arrives in three color options: Velvet Wine, Silk Grey, and Satin White. It is already available through Boat’s official website as well as major e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.

Each earbud weighs 4.6 grams, which should help reduce fatigue during long listening sessions. Instead of a traditional in-ear fit, Boat uses a clip-on open-ear format that keeps the ear canal open and relies on a lighter touch for all-day wear.

Privacy tools and clearer calls

Open-ear products can sometimes leak sound into the environment, and Boat is addressing that with Sonic Seal and Private Mode. These features are designed to direct audio more precisely toward the user’s ears.

The company has also added AI-based Environmental Noise Cancellation for calls. The system is meant to cut down on background noise and wind interference so conversations remain clearer in busy settings.

Audio, connectivity, and battery life

For sound output, the ProClip uses a 12mm dynamic driver with Air Conduction Technology. Boat says the setup is tuned to deliver balanced bass and clear vocals.

Connectivity comes through Bluetooth 6.0, which should provide a more stable and power-efficient connection. The earphones also support multi-point connection, allowing them to stay paired with two devices at once, such as a laptop and a phone.

Battery life is the main headline feature. The charging case includes a 500mAh battery, while each earbud carries a 50mAh cell, and Boat claims a combined playback time of up to 52 hours.

Built for everyday use

The Airdopes ProClip also carries an IPX4 rating, giving it protection against light splashes and sweat. That makes it suitable for routine use during commutes, office hours, or outdoor activity.

For added control, the earphones work with the Boat Hearables app. Through the app, users can check battery status, monitor pairing, adjust touch controls, tune the equalizer, and run self-diagnostics on the device.
