Realme has launched the Narzo 100x 5G in India with one of the most aggressive combinations in its class: a massive 8,000mAh battery and a 144Hz display. The phone is clearly built for endurance and smooth everyday use, but it also carries one notable compromise in its display specification.
That compromise is the HD+ resolution, which places a clear limit on sharpness even though the panel is designed to feel fluid. For buyers who value battery life and a fast screen more than pixel density, the device lands in an interesting middle ground.
Battery life is the main headline
Realme calls the 8,000mAh unit its “Titan Battery,” and the company says it is built to last up to three days on a single charge. It also claims the battery should retain more than 80% health after four years of use and support up to 1,600 charging cycles.
The charging setup is equally practical. Realme includes a 45W charger, along with 27W reverse wired charging and bypass charging, both of which are aimed at improving convenience and helping manage heat during heavy use.
Despite the large battery, the phone is not unusually bulky for its category. It measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs 224 grams, which keeps it within a manageable range for a battery-focused device.
The display is fast, but not especially sharp
The Narzo 100x 5G uses a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Those numbers should translate into smoother scrolling and better visibility outdoors than many standard mid-range screens.
Still, the HD+ resolution is the trade-off that may divide buyers. The panel can feel responsive and fluid, but users who prioritize fine detail and crisp text will likely notice that it does not match higher-resolution alternatives.
Performance and everyday features stay in familiar territory
Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Realme also uses a 5,300mm² vapor chamber to help control temperatures during demanding sessions.
For cameras, the phone offers a 50MP rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. It runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0, and it adds features such as AI Pulse Light, IP65 protection against dust and water, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3.
