Realme Narzo 100x Packs an 8,000 mAh Battery and 144Hz Screen, Here’s the Trade-Off

Realme has pushed the Narzo 100x into a very specific lane: a phone built for long endurance first, then fast display support, and only after that everything else. The headline feature is its Titan 8,000 mAh battery, a capacity Realme says can last up to three days on a single charge.

That positioning is not subtle. The device pairs its large battery with a 144Hz LCD panel, a Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a body that still measures 8.8mm thick, making it one of the more aggressive battery-focused packages in its class.

Big battery, quick charging, and useful extras

The battery setup is supported by 45W charging, plus all-scenario bypass charging and reverse wired charging. For users who spend long hours away from a power outlet, that combination is the clearest reason the Narzo 100x stands out.

Realme also adds practical touches that widen the phone’s appeal in daily use. These include touch support for gloved hands, wet hands, and oily hands, alongside IP65 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification.

Display built for speed, not just size

Up front, the Narzo 100x uses a 6.81-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Realme says the panel is intended to deliver smooth 60FPS gameplay in BGMI, MLBB, and Free Fire.

There is one limitation worth noting. Realme has not confirmed whether the full 144Hz mode is also available in gaming, so the high refresh rate is clearly a display selling point, but its gaming behavior remains unconfirmed.

Performance and memory options

Power comes from the Dimensity 6300 SoC, which Realme describes as supporting “lag-free gaming.” The phone ships with Realme UI 7.0 out of the box, giving it the latest software layer available at launch.

Memory choices go up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Realme also lists a 4GB/64GB configuration on its site, although pricing for that version has not been stated.

Cameras, cooling, and launch details

The camera setup is straightforward, with an 8MP selfie camera on the front and a dual rear camera array led by a 50MP main sensor. Realme also fits the rear module with an AI Pulse Light that offers five speed settings and nine color options.

To help manage heat, the company includes a vapor chamber measuring 5,300 mm2. The phone comes in Flash Orange and Midnight Black, and it will go on sale in India on 22 July through Realme’s official website.

In a market where many phones try to balance battery life and display quality, the Narzo 100x leans hard into both. Its formula is simple enough to understand: a very large battery, a fast screen, and durability features that make it easier to live with every day.
