Honor Robot Phone Nears Launch, Two Key Certifications Hint at 120W Charging

Honor Robot Phone is moving closer to launch after a device believed to be the APH-AN00 model appeared on two major certification platforms in China. The listings on MIIT and 3C are being seen as a strong sign that the August launch window is still on track.

The certifications matter because they usually come at the final stage before an official announcement. While Honor has not revealed full specifications yet, the filings suggest the company is completing preparations for the unusual flagship first shown at MWC 2026.

What the certifications reveal

The APH-AN00 model is now listed on both MIIT and 3C. According to reporting cited by Gizmochina, the model is widely believed to be the Honor Robot Phone long anticipated for the Chinese market.

MIIT does not provide hardware details, but its appearance confirms the phone has passed an important regulatory checkpoint. The 3C certification, meanwhile, points to support for up to 120W fast charging.

If that 120W charger support reaches the retail version, the phone would fit squarely into the modern flagship category. Even so, certifications alone do not confirm the final hardware package.

Rumored hardware and camera setup

Most of the current detail comes from tipster Digital Chat Station. He claims the Honor Robot Phone will use a flat 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch display with 1.5K resolution and extremely thin bezels on all four sides.

The phone is also said to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and carry a battery of around 6,000mAh. If accurate, that combination would place it directly among premium flagship devices.

The camera system is described as the main attraction. Rumors point to a 200MP main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, 23mm focal length, and 4D gimbal stabilization.

Honor Robot Phone is also said to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Honor Ailai imaging technology is reportedly part of the package as well, aimed at strengthening the phone’s photography performance.

That same leak suggests the device could also preview camera innovations intended for the upcoming Magic 9 series. If true, the Robot Phone would serve not only as a new product, but also as a showcase for Honor’s next imaging direction.

For now, the two certifications remain the most concrete indication that launch is approaching. If the August timing holds, Honor may only be waiting for the right moment to reveal the Robot Phone in full.
