A 6,500mAh Battery Defines Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G, but Its Screen Makes a Trade-Off

Vivo has positioned the T5 Lite 44W 5G around endurance rather than display sharpness. Its 6,500mAh battery is the device’s central advantage, while the large screen remains limited to HD+ resolution.

According to Vivo, the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charging cycles. The company also says 44W wired charging can take the phone from 1% to 50% in 38 minutes.

Large display, modest resolution

The phone uses a 6.74-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits in High Brightness Mode. Its 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution is the most apparent compromise in the specification sheet.

The 120Hz refresh rate should support smoother motion during everyday use. However, the lower resolution means the display does not target the same level of visual sharpness offered by some rivals in a similar segment.

Built for tougher daily use

Beyond battery capacity, Vivo has given the handset an IP65 rating for protection against dust and low-pressure water sprays. It also carries MIL-STD-810H certification for specified resistance to drops and impacts.

The Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G weighs 209 grams and measures 8.39 mm thick. Those dimensions reflect a design that prioritizes a large battery and physical durability over a particularly slim profile.

Dimensity 6300 and expandable storage

The handset is powered by MediaTek’s 6nm Dimensity 6300 processor with an octa-core configuration. It is offered with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card. This provides additional capacity for applications, photos, and files intended for offline access.

Cameras and software

The rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP secondary lens. A 5MP front camera is placed in the display notch.

Other hardware features include a small RGB ring light for notifications, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device runs Android 16 with Origin OS 6.0, including AI tools for text creation and audio transcription, plus Private Space for more secure file storage.

Gizmochina reports that the phone will go on sale in India from July 22 through Flipkart, Vivo’s online store, and offline retailers. It will be offered in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue finishes.
