Xiaomi’s latest move in its affordable wearable lineup is not about adding more features for the sake of it. The company is putting more weight on health-tracking accuracy while still claiming up to 21 days of battery life for the Smart Band 10 Pro.
That balance matters in a crowded budget wearable market, where many devices promise more functions but often make everyday comfort or endurance harder to preserve. Xiaomi is trying to avoid that trade-off by keeping the band thin, light, and familiar in spirit while improving the quality of the data it collects.
More focus on health data
The biggest upgrade centers on a new dual-light PPD sensor. Xiaomi says the sensor can deliver heart rate readings with up to 98.2 percent accuracy.
The band also supports blood oxygen measurement, and Xiaomi has paired that with Heart Rate Variability tracking. Together, those features are meant to give users a fuller view of daily body conditions rather than just basic activity counts.
Sleep tracking has also been updated with Sleep Algorithm 2.0. Xiaomi says the system improves sleep-stage detection by 14 percent and can identify sleep and wake times with 11 percent better accuracy.
Brighter screen, slimmer body
Visually, the Smart Band 10 Pro stays close to the Smart Band 9 Pro. It keeps the 1.74-inch AMOLED display, but peak brightness rises to 2,000 nits from 1,200 nits.
That increase should help outdoor visibility, especially under direct sunlight. Xiaomi has also kept the device compact, with a 9.7 mm thickness and a weight of 21.6 grams.
The battery remains a 350mAh unit, and Xiaomi still rates endurance at up to 21 days. Despite the larger focus on health monitoring, the company is not changing the battery promise that helped define the previous generation.
Built for workouts, not just step counting
The Smart Band 10 Pro supports more than 150 sport modes. Xiaomi has also added a new cycling mode that is said to track pedaling data more accurately.
During exercise, the band can monitor fatigue levels as well. That gives the device a broader role than simple motion tracking, since it is also meant to help users understand how the body responds during training.
Water resistance is still rated at 5ATM. That makes the band suitable for swimming and other water-based activities, while keeping it in line with what users expect from Xiaomi’s fitness wearables.
Pricing and availability
Xiaomi is offering the Smart Band 10 Pro in two material options. The aluminum alloy version is priced at CNY 399, while the ceramic version costs CNY 479.
For now, the device is available only in China. Xiaomi has not announced any global launch plans, although the Smart Band 9 Pro did not officially arrive in the United States either, even though its global version was sold through Amazon.
That leaves some room for a similar online rollout later on, but Xiaomi has not confirmed any international expansion for the Smart Band 10 Pro yet.
