Samsung has opened Indonesian pre-orders for its new foldable lineup with a free storage upgrade for selected Galaxy Z Fold 8 buyers. The early-order period began at 8 p.m. WIB on July 22, 2026, and will run until August 13, 2026.
Customers ordering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will receive the 12 GB/512 GB version at no additional charge. Samsung also says the combined offers, including device protection and digital services, can reach Rp 9 million in value.
Pre-order Prices in Indonesia
The lineup consists of the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 starts at Rp 19.999.000, while the highest-priced Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra configuration is listed at Rp 44.499.000.

The 16 GB/1 TB Galaxy Z Fold 8 receives an immediate Rp 4 million discount during pre-orders. Its Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra counterpart also has 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, but carries a Rp 4 million higher listed price.
Protection and Service Benefits
All pre-order customers will receive Screen Protection Film coverage for two years. Buyers of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 16 GB/1 TB will additionally receive Samsung Care Plus, which covers total screen damage for two years.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Series buyers are also entitled to Samsung Premier Service for two years. The service includes screen-film replacement, a one-day repair guarantee, priority access at service centres, device pickup and delivery, and round-the-clock assistance.
The pre-order package also includes six months of Google AI Pro at no cost. Samsung values the digital subscription at around Rp 2.1 million.
Online-exclusive Colour Options
The regular Galaxy Z Fold 8 colours are Lavender, Cream, and Graphite, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is offered in Violet Shadow, Cream, and Graphite. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 comes in Pink, Cream, and Graphite.
Samsung Indonesia’s website also offers exclusive online colours for each model. These options are Pistachio for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Violet Green for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Mint for the Galaxy Z Flip 8.
New Foldables Introduced in London
The three phones were introduced globally at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, 2026. Kompas Tekno reported that the series features slimmer and lighter designs, chipsets comparable to the Galaxy S26 Series, Silicon-Carbon batteries, and My Fancam.
The range gives buyers a choice between a compact vertical foldable and larger foldable models with storage options up to 1 TB. Customers seeking the pre-order benefits or online-exclusive colours must place their orders before the August 13 deadline.
