Battery Life Built for Long Days
The most prominent selling point is the 8,000mAh battery, which Tecno says has TÜV SÜD certification and can last up to two days under normal use. The company also gives a set of usage estimates that help show how far the battery can go in everyday scenarios.
According to Tecno, the phone can handle more than 60 hours of calls, 85 hours of music playback, 29 hours of YouTube viewing, 26 hours of WhatsApp use, and up to 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming.

Charging support is also fairly complete. Tecno includes 45W Super Charge, Bypass Charging to better control heat while gaming during charging, and 10W Reverse Wired Charging so the handset can work as a power bank.
The company says the battery is designed to retain more than 80 percent of its health after 2,000 full charge cycles, which it equates to roughly six years of use.
Triple-Chip Setup for Performance and Connectivity
Under the hood, the Tecno Pova 8 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G, paired with a G1 Signal Enhancement Chip and an SE1 Wi-Fi Enhancement Chip. Tecno describes this as a triple-chip architecture built to improve both performance and connection quality.
The company claims the system can improve cellular signal quality by up to 100 percent in difficult areas, including basements and elevators. Wi-Fi reception is also said to improve by as much as 60 percent for more stable use at work or during gaming sessions.
For gaming, the phone supports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at up to 90FPS and uses LPDDR5X memory to help keep multitasking responsive. That combination puts the device in the category of long-lasting phones that still try to stay competitive in day-to-day speed.
