Motorola Brings Edge 70 Fusion To Indonesia, 7,000 mAh Battery And Launch Price From Rp5.9 Million

Motorola’s new Edge 70 Fusion enters the Indonesian market with a clear pitch: long battery life, a smooth display, and stronger everyday performance. The phone is aimed at users who want a practical daily device with a large power reserve, yet still expect a clean design and solid camera features.

That positioning is reinforced by a 7,000 mAh battery, which immediately separates it from the Edge 60 Fusion’s 5,500 mAh unit. Motorola is also pairing the phone with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a move that puts endurance and speed at the center of the product’s appeal.

Battery life takes the lead

The biggest headline on the Edge 70 Fusion is its 7,000 mAh battery. In Motorola’s lineup, this is a substantial jump over the previous Edge 60 Fusion, making the new model more suitable for busy users and longer daily use.

Motorola also says the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 can deliver up to 20 percent higher CPU performance. That matters for a phone built not only to last longer, but also to handle routine tasks more comfortably.

One memory option for Indonesia

For the Indonesian market, Motorola is keeping the configuration simple. The Edge 70 Fusion is offered in a single variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

This limited lineup means buyers do not need to sort through multiple memory choices at launch. It also keeps the phone’s positioning straightforward in the upper midrange segment.

A 144Hz AMOLED panel with high brightness

On the front, the device uses a 6.78-inch extreme AMOLED display. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 5,200 nits, two numbers that place it among the more attention-grabbing displays in its class.

Motorola also states that the screen has a 91.50 percent aspect ratio. For users who spend long periods looking at the screen, the panel carries SGS Blue Light Reduction certification, which is meant to help reduce blue light exposure during extended use.

Camera hardware stays relevant for everyday content

The rear camera setup centers on a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor. Motorola complements it with a 13 MP ultrawide lens and a rear 3-in-1 light sensor, giving the phone a more complete shooting package.

On the front, the Edge 70 Fusion includes a 32 MP selfie camera. Video recording goes up to 4K UHD, which keeps the device usable for users who want higher-quality video calls or content capture.

Android 16 and long-term support

The phone runs Android 16 with Hello UI. Motorola also promises five years of security updates, a detail that may matter to buyers who plan to keep the device for a longer period.

In terms of build, the phone weighs 193 grams. Its back panel uses a linen-like or nylon-textured finish, while the body colors have been validated by Pantone for a more consistent premium look.

Pricing and launch offer

Motorola sets the regular price of the Edge 70 Fusion at Rp6.299.000. During the launch period, that price is reduced to Rp5.999.000, placing the device more aggressively in the premium midrange category.

Motorola also mentions additional benefits worth Rp1.3 million for each new unit purchase. With its 7,000 mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED display, 50 MP main camera, and five years of security updates, the Edge 70 Fusion adds another strong option to the Indonesian smartphone market.
