Realme has introduced the C85 Pro in Indonesia as a mid-range phone built around endurance, practical durability, and long battery life. The device is aimed at users who need reliable performance for daily communication, content use, and demanding field work.
The strongest selling point is its 7,000 mAh battery, paired with IP69 Pro certification and a design that Realme says is ready for tougher conditions. With that combination, the C85 Pro is positioned not only as a handset for everyday use, but also as a more dependable tool for people who spend a lot of time outdoors.
Built for harsher use cases
Realme places durability at the center of the C85 Pro’s identity. The phone carries IP69 Pro certification, meaning it is resistant to dust and high-pressure water spray, while Realme also says it meets military durability standards.
That positioning makes the device suitable for environments where accidental drops, exposure to heat, and repeated outdoor use are part of the routine. Krisva Angnieszca, Public Relations Lead at Realme Indonesia, said the phone was developed to support field workers who need a device that can handle impacts, hot water exposure, accidental falls, and still remain clear to use under direct sunlight.
At around 205 grams, the C85 Pro remains relatively manageable for a phone with a large battery and reinforced body.
Bright AMOLED display for outdoor visibility
The front side of the C85 Pro uses a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That combination is intended to make scrolling, menu transitions, and app navigation feel smoother during everyday use.
Realme also claims a peak brightness level of up to 4,000 nits. For users who often operate a phone outside, that figure matters because the screen is expected to stay easier to read under strong sunlight.
Core hardware and daily performance
Under the hood, the Realme C85 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 685, a chipset built on a 6nm process. Realme pairs it with 8GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
The hardware setup is aimed at common tasks such as communication, light multitasking, and content consumption. Virtual RAM support is also included to help when multiple apps are open at once, while the available storage options give users more flexibility for everyday files and apps.
Battery life as the main draw
The feature that stands out most is the 7,000 mAh battery. For users who spend long hours away from chargers or work in locations with limited access to power, that capacity becomes one of the device’s most practical advantages.
To reduce charging downtime, Realme includes 45W fast charging. The phone also supports reverse charging, allowing it to act as a power source for other devices when needed.
Camera setup for standard needs
On the rear, the C85 Pro carries a 50MP main camera supported by AI features. Realme says this setup includes scene detection and night mode, helping the camera adapt to different shooting conditions.
On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and self-portraits. The system is not aimed at the premium photography segment, but it is built to cover basic documentation and communication needs.
Color options and pricing in Indonesia
Realme offers the C85 Pro in two color choices: Parrot Purple and Peacock Green. In Indonesia, the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at Rp3.599.000, while the 8GB/256GB version costs Rp3.899.000.
With a large battery, a bright display, rugged protection, and a mid-range price tag, the Realme C85 Pro is clearly targeted at active users who prioritize durability and long-lasting use. The device’s profile makes it especially relevant for field workers and anyone who needs a phone that can stay dependable throughout a full day of heavy use.
