Suzuki e VITARA Brings 426 Km Range and a Feature Set That Feels Unusually Complete

Suzuki e VITARA arrives with a rare combination in the electric SUV market: a claimed range of up to 426 kilometers and a long list of comfort and safety features. For buyers considering a shift to battery-electric mobility, that mix makes it stand out immediately.

The model is built as a Battery Electric Vehicle, or BEV, and Suzuki appears to have focused on making it practical for daily use rather than treating it as a stripped-down electric conversion. The result is an SUV that aims to balance efficiency, convenience, and confidence behind the wheel.

Electric hardware built for everyday use

According to Harian Disway, Suzuki equips the e VITARA with a 61 kWh lithium-ion battery, 128 kW of maximum power, and 193 Nm of peak torque. With that setup, Suzuki claims the SUV can travel up to 426 kilometers on a full charge.

Charging practicality is also part of the package. The e VITARA supports DC fast charging that can move the battery from 15 percent to 80 percent in about 45 minutes.

Using a three-phase 11 kW AC charger, the charging time is around 5.5 hours. Suzuki also backs the battery with an eight-year warranty, which adds another layer of reassurance for owners.

Driving modes and a dedicated electric platform

The e VITARA offers three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. In a test-drive session at Suzuki Kenjeran Dealer in Surabaya on 9 July 2026, Harian Disway reported that Sport mode delivered quick acceleration while still feeling stable.

The SUV also includes Pedal Mode, which helps deceleration feel smoother when the accelerator pedal is released. That feature supports both comfort and energy efficiency in regular driving.

Underneath, the e VITARA uses the HEARTECT-e platform developed specifically for electric vehicles. Suzuki pairs it with an eAxle system that combines the electric motor, inverter, and transmission into one unit.

This setup is intended to improve efficiency, stability, and overall driving character. It also shows that Suzuki is not simply electrifying an existing SUV, but building a new foundation for its BEV lineup.

Cabin comfort and safety technology

Inside the cabin, Suzuki gives the e VITARA a more futuristic feel with an integrated digital display that serves as the main information and control hub. The infotainment system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easier smartphone connectivity.

Comfort features include a 10-way electric driver’s seat, wireless charger, ambient lighting, a panoramic glass roof, and rear passenger air vents. Those features position the e VITARA not just as an electric vehicle, but as a family-oriented SUV built for longer and more comfortable trips.

Safety is handled through Suzuki Safety Support, a package that includes Dual Sensor Brake Support II, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Departure Prevention. It also offers Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and eCall for emergency situations.

Exterior details and key specifications

On the outside, the e VITARA comes with LED headlights and taillights, plus 18-inch alloy wheels. Suzuki offers color choices including Land Breeze Green Pearl Metallic, Arctic White Pearl, and Black Pearl.
