3 Asus Vivobooks for Students, the AI-Ready Option Starts at Rp 11.799.000

Asus has introduced three Vivobook laptop lines in Indonesia for students, spanning entry-level daily use, multitasking, and AI-focused computing. The notable pricing point is that the Vivobook 14 A1407CA with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H starts at Rp 11.799.000, below the entry price of the Vivobook 14 A1404.

Buyers are therefore faced with more than a straightforward price ladder. Processor platform, memory capacity, screen format, and AI support create meaningful differences between the Vivobook Go 14 E1404, Vivobook 14 A1404, and Vivobook 14 A1407 families.

1. Vivobook Go 14 E1404

The Vivobook Go 14 E1404 is the lowest-priced line, beginning at Rp 11.299.000 for an AMD Ryzen 3 7320U, 8 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. A Ryzen 5 7520U version with 8 GB of RAM costs Rp 12.999.000, while the 16 GB RAM configuration is priced at Rp 15.899.000.

This model is 17.9 mm thick and weighs about 1.38 kg, positioning it as a portable option for school and campus routines. It comes in Mixed Black, Greygreen, and Cool Silver, with Greygreen using a grey-green lid finish.

Its equipment includes a 14-inch Full HD IPS-level display, a fingerprint sensor, a 180-degree hinge, and a webcam privacy shutter. Asus also includes US MIL-STD 810H durability certification, Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office Home 2024, and one year of Microsoft 365 Basic.

2. Vivobook 14 A1404

The Vivobook 14 A1404 is aimed at students who need greater capability for routine multitasking. It is available with an Intel Core 5 120U, 8 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD for Rp 13.799.000.

The same Core 5 processor with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM is priced at Rp 15.299.000. Asus also offers an Intel Core 7 150U, 8 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD configuration for Rp 15.399.000.

The laptop is 17.9 mm thick and weighs about 1.4 kg. Its Cool Silver, Terracotta, and Quiet Blue versions include a 180-degree hinge, fingerprint sensor, webcam privacy shutter, and Asus Antimicrobial Guard Plus on frequently touched areas.

3. Vivobook 14 A1407

The Vivobook 14 A1407 is the most flexible family, with Intel Core Ultra Series, Qualcomm Snapdragon X, and AMD Ryzen AI options. It uses a 14-inch WUXGA display with 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, while weighing about 1.46 kg.

The A1407CA configuration pairs an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512 GB SSD for Rp 11.799.000. The A1407QA uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1-26-100, 16 GB of RAM, and either a 512 GB SSD for Rp 15.499.000 or a 1 TB SSD for Rp 16.499.000.

The Snapdragon version has an NPU rated up to 45 TOPS and supports Copilot Plus PC features. Asus also sells the M1407KA with either an AMD Ryzen AI 5 330 or Ryzen AI 5 340, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB SSD, each priced at Rp 17.999.000.

All Vivobook 14 A1407 models include Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office Home 2024, and Microsoft 365 Basic. According to Kompas Tekno, all three Vivobook lines receive a two-year international warranty, two years of Asus VIP Perfect Warranty, and access to more than 140 service centers in Indonesia.

Asus is also offering matching accessories, including the Marshmallow Mouse MD100 for Rp 449.000, Marshmallow Keyboard for Rp 699.000, and Smart-O Mouse MD200 for Rp 899.000. The range gives students options from a lighter everyday laptop to machines with higher memory configurations and AI-oriented platforms.
