Logitech has introduced the Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro, two smart meeting cameras designed for large conference spaces. Both are built to blend into the room rather than stand out as visible hardware.
The Pro model is described as the smartest camera Logitech has ever made, while the standard version is aimed at meeting rooms, town halls, and classrooms. The design approach reflects a broader push for hybrid work tools that sit quietly in the background.
Hidden installation and automatic privacy cover
One of the main selling points is the flexible installation. Logitech is offering an in-wall mounting option for the first time, allowing the camera to sit flush and remain discreet.
The device can also be mounted on the ceiling, placed above a TV display, or attached to a wall. For privacy, it includes an automatic cover that closes when the camera is not in use.
AI framing built for large rooms
The visual engine runs on RightSight 2, an AI-based system that performs real-time adaptive framing. It can frame a group, spotlight an individual speaker, or show participants in a grid layout.
The camera also supports multi-camera integration, including Zoom Intelligent Director and custom views in Microsoft Teams. Logitech positions the setup as a way to make remote interaction feel more intimate and cinematic.
Both models come with a custom lens, a 1-inch image sensor, and a 115-degree field of view. Logitech says the system is designed to perform reliably in low-light conditions.
The Rally AI Camera Pro adds an optical camera with 15x hybrid zoom for more precise presenter detail in very large rooms.
Useful for IT teams and room management
Beyond recording meetings, the cameras are also meant to help building operators and IT managers. They can detect attendance levels, count people, and monitor room usage intensity.
That data syncs directly with Logitech Sync, allowing rooms that were booked but left empty to be released automatically as ghost meetings. Installation is kept simple, requiring only USB or a single category cable with an additional module, plus Wi-Fi or Ethernet for remote updates.

Logitech also says the devices use low-carbon aluminum and FSC-certified paper packaging as part of its environmental commitment. Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro will be available starting September 2026 in graphite and off-white through official Logitech retailers.
