Belkin’s New 10,000mAh Power Bank Hides a Motion-Sensing Night Light

Belkin has introduced a power bank in China that does more than recharge a phone or tablet. The new model also includes a pop-out LED light with motion sensing, turning a standard portable battery into a more flexible everyday carry item.

Sold through JD.com for 329 yuan, or around $49, the device is called the Belkin BoostCharge Pro Power Bank 10K with Motion Sensing Light. Its 10,000mAh capacity places it in familiar territory for daily use, but the added lighting feature gives it a more practical edge in dark rooms, travel bags, or emergency situations.

USB-C takes center stage

Belkin has made USB-C the only charging path on this power bank. It comes with a braided USB-C cable built into the body, along with an additional USB-C port for a second charging option.

Both charging paths support up to 45W output. When two devices are connected at the same time, the power is distributed automatically at 30W for the primary device and 15W for the second device.

Maximum Output45W
Dual-Device Output Split30W + 15W

The power bank also supports USB Power Delivery and PPS, making it compatible with a wide range of modern devices that rely on USB-C fast charging. That keeps the product aligned with current charging habits while still adding a feature that is not common in this category.

A motion-sensing LED that doubles as a night light

The most distinctive part of the device is its pop-out LED lamp. It includes motion sensing and touch controls for brightness adjustment, giving users a small light source that can be activated quickly when needed.

Belkin says the lamp can be used as a bedside night light, a small fill light for photos or video calls, or an emergency light with SOS flashing mode. Because the LED uses very little power, it should not drain the 10,000mAh battery quickly.

A small digital display on the front shows the remaining battery level as a percentage. The same display area also serves as the control point for switching lighting modes and managing the motion-sensing function.

Size, weight, and protection

The power bank weighs 257 grams and measures 118 x 60 x 32mm, which keeps it within a reasonable range for a 10,000mAh device. It is available in blue and orange.

Belkin has also included protection against overheating, overcharging, overvoltage, and short circuits. The company says the device is certified for air travel, which adds convenience for frequent travelers.

According to Gizmochina, the launch comes around the same time other brands have pushed larger and faster charging products, including a 25,000mAh Ugreen power bank with 200W output and a built-in cable, as well as a slim 5,000mAh magnetic Baseus power bank with 22.5W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

With a 10,000mAh battery, 45W output, a built-in USB-C cable, and a motion-sensing light, Belkin is positioning this model as more than a backup charger. It is aimed at users who want one compact device that can handle charging and low-light convenience at the same time.
